Founded in 2001 Sapthagiri College of Engineering is a well-known and reputable Institute in Bangalore, Karnataka. There are 16 courses in all, including a full-time degree program. 14 UG programmes are offered by Sapthagiri College of Engineering. Eligibility for Admission in Sapthagiri College of Engineering
Admissions are done as per the Government of Karnataka and AICTE Norms
- The candidate must have finished the second PUC exam, the equivalent of the 12th grade, with English as one of the languages, and have secured a minimum of 45% of the total marks in physics, mathematics, chemistry, biotechnology, biology, electronics, and computer science. 40% for the applicants in the SC, ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B categories.
- The candidate must have obtained a qualifying score in the CET or COMEDK admission exam.
CET QUOTA (CET College Code: E108):
For CET Candidates with a Karnataka Domicile must take a quota exam conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority.
COMEDK QUOTA (COMEDK College Code: E116):
For applicants from Karnataka and outside the state, the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association Authority conducts the test for the COMEDK quota.
MANAGEMENT QUOTA: (Karnataka and Non Karnataka Students)
SCE welcomes qualified applicants for Management Quota Seats, meaning those who meet the criteria for admission as listed above. Based on individual counselling, these seats are distributed on the basis of merit among the applicants. Details on how to receive applications, counselling, etc. will be soon announced/hosted on this website (probably in May or June).
