How to Get Admission in CMRIT

Admission Procedure

 

  • The registration form must be completed by all candidates. This needs to be done at the CMRIT College Campus.
  • Visit the Admissions Department to meet Mrs. Revathi R, the Admissions Coordinator.
  • Details about the admission fee will be provided to the eligible candidate.
  • Candidates may complete the application form and submit it together with the required documentation after their eligibility has been verified.

 

A student who wishes to apply for admission to one of the undergraduate engineering programs at CMR Institute of Technology may do so in one of the following ways:

  • Common Entrance Test (CET) and Selection Process
  • COMEDK and Selection Process
  • Management Admission Process

Eligibility for Admission in CMRIT

Students must have obtained at least 45% of their total marks in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Electronics, and Computers in the 2nd PUC/12th/Equivalent Exam, which must have included English as one of the languages. (40% for those from the Karnataka reserved category).

Additionally, the candidate must pass one of the entrance tests listed below: COMED-K, JEE, CET, and AIEEE

Management Admissions Procedures

CMRIT M.Tech Admissions

Candidates who have completed the appropriate Bachelor of Engineering examination with at least a 50% overall score are eligible for admission to M.Tech programs. (45% for applicants from Karnataka who are SC/ST). Additionally, the candidate must have passed at least one of the required entrance tests, which are listed below.

  • The Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) and Selection Process or the Management Admission Process is the two options available to students who want to apply for admission to CMRIT’s Post Graduate Engineering Programs.
  • Selection Process and the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET)
  • Every year, in the months of May and June, the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (exam administered by www.kea.kar.nic.in) is held. Admission to colleges connected to Visvesvaraya Technological University requires passing this test. Based only on candidates from the state of Karnataka’s written test results, PGCET counselling will be performed. When receiving centralized counselling, eligible students have the option of selecting CMRIT.

 

CMRIT MBA Admissions

Candidate admission to M.B.A. programs is available to those who have earned a bachelor’s degree with at least a 50% overall passing grade. (45% for applicants from Karnataka who are SC/ST). The applicant must also have passed at least one of the entrance tests required, as detailed in the admissions process below.

  • The Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) and Selection Process or the Management Admission Process are the two options available to students who want to apply for admission to CMRIT’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
  • The selection process involves the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET).
  • Every year, in the months of May and June, the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (exam administered by www.kea.kar.nic.in) is held. Admission to colleges connected to Visvesvaraya Technological University requires passing this test. Based only on candidates from the state of Karnataka’s written test results, PGCET counselling will be performed. CMRIT MCA Admissions

Candidates who obtained a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% overall may apply for admission to M.C.A. programs. (45% for applicants from Karnataka who are SC/ST). The applicant must also have passed at least one of the entrance tests required, as detailed in the admissions procedure below.

  • The Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) and Selection Process or the Management Admission Process are the two options available to students who want to apply for admission to CMRIT’s Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program.
  • Selection Process and the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET)
  • Every year, in the months of May and June, the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (exam administered by www.kea.kar.nic.in) is held. Admission to colleges connected to Visvesvaraya Technological University requires passing this test. Based only on candidates from the state of Karnataka’s written test results, PGCET counselling will be performed.
