MSRIT provides B.E and B.Arch degrees at the undergraduate level. It provides M.Tech, MBA, and MCA at the graduate level. The institution also offers admission to Ph.D. and M.Sc. research programs across 17 departments. Applicants may apply for any of the courses online at the institute’s website.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in B.E.

• To pursue an undergraduate engineering degree at MSRIT, a candidate must have passed the 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka), with Physics and Mathematics as required subjects and Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, and Electronics as optional subjects.
• The minimum qualifying exam score for SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC candidates is 40%, whereas the minimum qualifying exam score for General Category applicants is 45%. If the candidate’s marks in Chemistry fall short of the required overall percentage for eligibility (and not for the reason of deciding rank, with respect to engineering/technology courses), the candidate’s marks in Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics will be taken into consideration in their place.
• Entrance Exam: KEA / COMEDK

Five years Bachelor of Architecture

In this five-year program, students learn the art of planning, designing, and constructing physical structures of many kinds through a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. An architect’s involvement in a construction project begins with the design phase and continues through the planning and construction phases.

Eligibility (B.Arch.)

• A candidate who passes the 10 + 2 examination pattern (equivalent to the two-year Pre-university in Karnataka).
• Entrance to the five-year B.Arch. program requires a minimum Score of 50% overall at the 10+2 level, 50% in each of the three subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics), and 50% in English.

Postgraduate Courses

Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Eligibility: Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree of at least three years from a recognized university and have not less than 50% aggregate marks in all years of the degree examination, except for candidates from Karnataka who are SC/STs or Category 1.

Entrance Exam: KMAT / CMAT / MAT/ PGCET – any one mandatory.

Master of Computer Application (MCA)

Eligibility: We offer a 2-year MCA programme that is open to applicants who have earned a 3-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with at least 50% of the total marks across all examination years in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Applications, Business Mathematics, and Business Statistics as one of the optional or elective subjects. The required minimum aggregate is 45% for applicants from Karnataka who fall under SC/ST and Category-l.

Entrance Exam: KMAT or PGCET – any one mandatory
