The Department of Management Studies (MBA Program) in MSRIT was founded in 1998 with the goal of producing professional managers of the highest calibre to meet the industry’s always-changing expectations and difficulties.

Graduating students are hired by reputable organizations and huge enterprises since the department has developed a solid reputation for its degree over time. The department was the first in the Bangalore Area to obtain academic autonomy from VTU in 2007 in recognition of the excellence of management education provided by our institution. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has granted the department three years of accreditation (2019-2022). The department has Memorandums of Understanding with major corporations such as EY, GSS, and MCX.

The department features modern training methods such as LCD projectors, a professionally stocked library, and a dedicated computer lab with internet access, and licensed software. Sometimes, the department organizes industrial visits. The student’s project work and internships at top firms provide them with practical experience in the business.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission in MSRIT

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree of at least three years from a recognized university and have not less than 50% aggregate marks in all years of the degree examination, except for candidates from Karnataka who are SC/STs or Category 1.

Entrance Exam: KMAT / CMAT / MAT/ PGCET – any one mandatory.
